Bay of Bristol

Just back from a great afternoon hike. A couple of points to
consider for this hike. 1. Mosquito repellant is a MUST. 2.
Currently the 1st letterbox is impossible to reach due to a VERY
active bee hive in the many-trunked maple tree. (I have a question
here, does bushwacking in this hobby actually mean chopping down
bushes? It is an EXTREMELY overgrown area--I itch in anticipation of
my poison ivy :) 3. Despite the suggestion that bikes and strollers
are welcome I would advise against either (especially strollers)for
the 1st letterbox. The woodchips would make the stroller wheels
impossible to manage. 4. This is a beautiful hike, FYI approx. 4+
miles.
